Terms of Use/Terms of Participation
Terms of use and acceptable ways of conduct for Plavi zub users are outlined here in order do protect Plavi zub and other Internet users from disturbing and illegal activities. In case of dispute between Plavi zub and its users the Zagreb court will have jurisdiction. By keeping to the Terms of use, users will ensure a more satisfying and productive use of Plavi zub for themselves and other users.
1. General terms of use
1.1. The user utilizes the services of Plavi Zub and the Internet at their own risk. Plavi zub doesn't extend any guarantees or accepts responsibility for possible damages that the user might experience while utilizing the services of Plavi zub or the Internet.
1.2. The Internet is an international computer network which is not under the control of Plavi zub and therefore Plavi zub can't guarantee the availability of services that are not under its direct control.
2. Communication content
2.1. Plavi zub provides access to information, data, programs, photographs, video material, music and sounds («content») located on its web site or acquired through the Internet. The user is responsible for evaluation of the available content and is liable for potential risks arising from the use, accuracy or usefulness of the content available at Plavi zub or the Internet.
2.2. The user agrees that Plavi zub is within its right to limit or terminate the rights of access to its services, at any moment and without prior notice, for any user that utilizes those services in an illicit manner. The user agrees that Plavi zub is not liable for any damages that may arise for the user from limiting or terminating the utilization of Plavi zub services brought on by unacceptable or illicit conduct by the user.
Unacceptable or illicit use of Plavi zub services includes:
a) Illegal content
The user is not allowed to publish or communicate information that is in violation of existing laws
b) Untruthful information
The user agrees not to publish or communicate information that he/she knows or should know to be untrue, and the use of which could cause damage to other users
c) Untruthful advertising
The user isn’t allowed to publish or communicate promotional materials which include untrue or misleading information or statements. The user agrees not to send or communicate promotional materials to other users or subscribers without their agreement or requirement, and not to publish such material in inappropriate places.
d) Publishing, communicating or sending of protected «content»
The user is not allowed to publish personal or confidential information about persons, corporations, services or other subjects. The user agrees that he/she will not publish, send or communicate offensive content.
e) False presentation
The user agrees not to falsely present him/herself while utilizing Plavi zub services.
f) Chain letters
The user agrees not to publish, send or communicate content that offers services or products in the form of chain letters
g) Inappropriate content
The user agrees not to publish content in inappropriate places
2.3. The user agrees not to utilize Plavi zub services in a way that could endanger the functionality of said services
2.4 Plavi zub is within its right, if misuse of its services is suspected, to control the content the users place on its website. Plavi zub can ensure the removal of any content on its pages that is found to be in opposition to the Terms of use.
2.5. Plavi zub is within its rights to distribute to its users, by e-mail or post, communication in which it informs its users of change of services, new services, improvement of existing services and other information concerning Plavi zub.
3. Copyrighted content and other rights
3.1. Plavi zub provides access to content that is protected by copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
3.2. The user agrees to utilize mentioned content in accordance with laws and regulations governing the use of such content
3.3. The user agrees not to publish or communicate content that they are not in 100% ownership of, and that is protected in any way, without permission of the content owner. Publishing or communication of such material will result in termination of access to Plavi zub services.
4. Termination of access
4.1. Plavi zub will terminate access to its services for users that disregard the Terms of use.
4.2. The user agrees that Plavi zub is within its rights to remove all his/her information and data from Plavi zub servers at the moment of access termination
4.3. Plavi zub will provide all its users with free and undisturbed access to all its services. Plavi zub is within rights to require from users compensation of expenses that arise as a result of unacceptable or illicit utilization of Plavi zub services by the user
5. Username and password
5.1. Users that register at Plavi zub are given a username and password which are used to authorize the utilization of Plavi zub services. If a user should suspect unauthorized use of his/her username and/or password, the user is liable for possible expenses brought on by unauthorized use of their account until the moment the user notifies Plavi zub of the suspicion of unauthorized use. The user is also responsible for all unacceptable activities undertaken under their username.
6. Protection of privacy
6.1. Plavi zub guarantees its users that the information gathered through user registration will not be sold or made available to third parties. The information given in the registration process is not available to individuals outside Plavi zub. Plavi zub also guarantees the privacy of information the user has given concerning third parties.
6.2. Plavi zub promises not to sell copyright works of Plavi zub users to third parties, without permission of the author or copyright owner.
6.3. On its website, Plavi zub features links to other websites that Plavi zub doesn't maintain and that are not part of Plavi zub services. In the event of visits to such websites, Plavi zub cannot guarantee protection of privacy or information to Plavi zub users since Plavi zub doesn't maintain said websites and is not responsible for their content.
7. Plavi zub chat rules
7.1. The user agrees with Plavi zub terms of use.
The user agrees that all communication in Plavi zub chat is public, not private. In general, Plavi zub will not monitor, censure or in any way influence the content of messages the user posts in a chat. The user is responsible for all their communication in a chat and accepts liability for consequences that communication with a third party in a chat can bring.
7.2. The user agrees not to use Plavi zub chat to distribute chain letters, promotional materials, spamming etc. (unacceptable conduct is outlined in section 2.2 of Terms of use)
The user agrees not to use Plavi zub chat to publish or distribute content that is in any way illegal, offensive, biased, false, threatening, vulgar, explicit or can in any way be perceived to violate civil rights.
The user agrees not to use Plavi zub chat to exchange materials, documents, programs or anything else that includes explicit material or (real or edited) content featuring persons under the age of 12.
The user agrees not to use Plavi zub chat to offer to third parties records or files that include software or any other material protected by copyright laws, unless the user himself is the owner of said material.
The user agrees not to use Plavi zub chat to collect from third parties the material he/she knows or suspects the use of would be a violation of copyright laws, or any other Croatian or international laws.
The user agrees not to use Plavi zub chat to offer third parties files that contain viruses or any other software the use of which might cause partial or total malfunction of computers
Plavi zub is not responsible for durability of chat messages, their wrong addressing, delays in message display or inability to save the content of particular chats. The user agrees to use Plavi zub chat solely for the purpose of sending and receiving messages appropriate for the subject of that particular chat.
8. Plavi zub forum rules
8.1. The user agrees that all communication in Plavi zub forum is public, not private. In general, Plavi zub will not monitor, censure or in any way influence the content of messages the user posts at the forum.

The user agrees to use Plavi zub forum solely for the purpose of posting and viewing messages appropriate for the subject of that particular forum or forum topic. Plavi zub reserves the right to remove topics or posts from the forum, but is not required to remove content any particular user perceives to be offensive or explicit.
The user agrees that any material he/she applies with to Plavi zub, or submits to Plavi zub by any means, can be used by Plavi zub, free of charge, to promote Plavi zub festival and its website.
The user agrees that any material he/she applies with to Plavi zub, or submits to Plavi zub by any means, Plavi zub can use free of charge in the production of Plavi zub festival.
